WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

As a business owner, it is important for you to have timely, relevant and reliable information to use in running your business, and also to provide the various federal & state tax agencies you'll be dealing with.  This is the primary purpose of bookkeeping.

You have three bookkeeping options:

OPTION 1 - You could maintain the books yourself.   The only advantage you'll get is that you don't have to pay to have your books done.  However, in order to create a system that would provide you with timely, relevant and reliable information, you'd have to learn bookkeeping and this would take away a lot of time from running your business, selling your products/services and serving your clients.  This option could cost you a lot of money in lost revenues.

OPTION 2 - You could hire an employee and put them on payroll.  This would free up your time to run your business and sell your products/services.  However, it would cost you some more money, because you'd now have to factor in the associated payroll costs (unemployment, medical/dental benefits, etc.)  If you have less than 10 employees, having a full-time bookkeeper on your payroll may be expensive.

OPTION 3 - Outsource your bookkeeping functions to a firm like ours.  The advantages of using SGE Accounting Group include:

  • Time & Cost Savings - our fees are competitive and would cost you less than having a full-time employee on payroll.
  • Service Quality - you'll have access to accurate information and service provided with the same professionalism and standards you'd expect from a large firm, with the type of dedication you'd expect from an in-house employee, but at a fraction of the cost.
  • Technical Expertise - QuickBooks and accounting principles.
  • Confidentiality - your information is kept private.
  • Flexible schedules - we are available to meet with you during non-regular business hours, including evenings & weekends.  We can meet you at your office or in a coffee shop.  We can also work remotely after establishing our preliminary expectations.
